Peek-A-Boo is one for the books, boasting spherical, bright gold blooms with red centers, they look like someone pulled all the petals off an ordinary daisy. But these little blossoms are anything but simple! Known by a plethora of names from the traditional Toothache Plant to the somewhat comical Buzz Buttons, spilanthes has been used as a medicinal herb, as well as a fun addition to trendy cocktails. The blooms contain Spilanthol, a component that causes a tingling or numbing sensation in the mouth when they are chewed.
