Synonyms: Malva coromandeliana, Malvastrum tricuspidatum.
Family: Malvaceae.
Common name: False Mallow, Broom weed, Clock plant, Prickly malvastrum.
Kannada Name: ಸಣ್ಣ ಬಿಂದಿಗೆ ಗಿಡ (Sannabindige gida). ಸಣ್ಣ ತುರುಬಿ ಹೂ (Sanna Turubi Hoo),
I Observing one Month (Date 04-05-2021 to 9-06-2021) At Shree Guru Kantiswamy Math Field, Malvastrum coromandelianum Plant Flowers Ore Blooming At Aftermoon timing 3.00 PM in this time four Species Butterflies Come And Nectaring this plant Flowers And This Flowers Are slowly strickening at sunset (time 6.30 PM). I Observed Nectaring the following species Of 1) Common Grass Yellow – Eurema hecabe (Linnaeus, 1758), 2) Tiny Grass Blue – Zizula hylax (Fabricius, 1775), 3) Pale Grass Blue – Pseudozizeeria maha (Kollar, 1844), 4) Tawny Coster – Acraea terpsicore (Linnaeus, 1758).
