Observation - Large Yellow Moraea - Southern Africa. Description: Seen in profusion in the grass land, said to be more common in grazed areas. Found at 1800m. Can exclude M. alticola which only found above 2400 m , M. huttonii which is found in streams and M. graminicola which is a paler yell
Seen in profusion in the grass land, said to be more common in grazed areas. Found at 1800m. Can exclude M. alticola which only found above 2400 m , M. huttonii which is found in streams and M. graminicola which is a paler yellow. Pity last found in Nottingham Road area and is NT.
Unknown bug on one flower, lower leaves do not show cataphylis, cf M. alticola.
