Isn’t nature amazing? 🌺 Biodiversity, beyond its undeniable beauty, represents the interconnectedness of all forms of life on our planet and is responsible for food, soil, water, weather and even the air we breathe. The UN considers biodiversity our strongest natural defence against climate change. Land and ocean ecosystems currently absorb 60% of human-caused emissions, and they are the planet’s only way of storing massive amounts of carbon dioxide. Here we have the species Dissotidendron lanatum, Protea kibarensis subsp cuspidata and Podocarpus spp. trees thriving in Mafinga Hills, Zambia, showcasing the biodiversity of our Miombo Belt Regeneration programme 🌳 #zambia #biodiversity #generationrestoration #trees #nature
That’s beautiful amazing 🌲🌳 trees are beautiful
