Detailed description
Vigorous climber. Stems becoming woody. Leaves with 5-7 (occ 3 or 9) hairless leaflets; each 15-60 x 7-40 mm, narrow-oval, glossy. Flowers tubular, fragrant, 17-23 mm long, white or cream outside, cream or flecked with crimson or deep red inside; numerous in terminal panicles. Seed capsule to 9 x 2 cm, beaked, seldom seen.
Similar taxa
Very similar foliage to P. jasminoides, but can easily be separated when flowering, P. pandorana has numerous small flowers in large clusters, P. jasminoides has flowers to 60 mm long in panicles of 5-15.
