Bluejoint grass is a US Native that is most often found in marshes, open woods, meadows, and other wet locations across the country. It is not as ornamental as many of the other grasses we grow, but we love it for its hardy nature, blue-green leaves, silvery flower spikes, burgundy-tinted autumn foliage, and ability to spread rapidly. It is a good choice for erosion control.
