Found in Gabon in woodland trees on branches at elevations of 1500 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with pendulous, elongate, slender stems sometimes branching and carrying in the apical part, widely spaced, terete but flattened, often curved, acute leaves that blooms in the fall on an opposite the leaves, .4" [1 cm] long, 1 to 4 flowered inflorescence

Easily separated from N filiformis by the shorter straight spur, and smaller flowers.
