Bridelia micrantha is a beautiful, fast growing shade tree more commonly known as bruin stinkhout. A medium to large-sized decidous tree, with flaking brownish-grey bark, with leaves that rae dark green and glossy on top, but a paler green below. Some leaves have been known to turn bright red/orange in Autumn. Produces a small yellow cluster of flowers, and small edible berries. Likes moisture. Is known to attract butterflies. Has many uses, mainly for timber and medicinal.
