Dovyalis caffra - Kei Apple. A large tree, it can reach over 6mtrs, it sports large spines and bears an abundance of small, apricot coloured fruits. You'll need a female if you want fruit or a fertile male and fertile female (was it ever thus?!). The tree can tolerate temperatures as low as -6C so it's ideal for British growers ;)
