Marantaceae Species Print * Prayer Plant varieties ID chart of Calathea, Maranta, Stromanthe, and Ctenanthe leaves * Unframed fine art print

This print features Twenty-two watercolor illustrations of foliage from the Marantaceae family. This family of closely related genera is sometimes known as the ‘Prayer Plants’, famous for their intricately patterned leaves. Each leaf was originally painted in watercolor at a roughly life-size scale. It took me several months in the spring and summer of 2019 to paint all of the leaves for this print, which I launched in July of 2019. I used plants in my own collection and photos of plants I’ve seen in botanical gardens and private collections as my primary sources of reference. I sign each print individually and every order is shipped directly from my home studio. Thank you for supporting my work!

12" x 16" inch print on matte fine art paper. Signed by the artist. Unframed, ships flat in a protective sleeve with backing board.
