Ceratostigma griffithii, also known as Griffith's plumbago, is a hardy, evergreen perennial that is native to the Himalayas. It is a popular garden plant in temperate climates, valued for its late-season flowers.
Features:
- Growing to 12-18 inches tall and wide, and has small, dark green leaves. The flowers are bright blue, and appear in late summer and early autumn. The flowers are followed by small, black fruits.
Height: 45cm x 45cm
Planting : When planting in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality Tree and Shrub Compost. If planting in a container then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost with added John Innes. These plants should be fed in Spring and late Summer with a good quality granular fertiliser.
