Product description

Hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis) is a plant of the Lamiaceae family. It is a plant that contains essential oil. The plant is originally from Persia. The Persians used extracts from the plant to give their skin a warm colour. In the 16th century, the plant came to southern Europe and from there it spread. In the Bible, hyssop refers to various plants and their products, which were used in ritual acts, for example the sprinkling of sacrificial blood. Hyssop is also used in the production of absinthe. It is a fragrant plant with purple lipped flowers and likes a sunny and dry place.

Susanne van Iperen 06-06-2022 15:32 Als alle andere planten ziet ook de hyssop er goed uit. Ik probeerde met bio zaad zelf te zaaien, maar dat lukte niet. Zo kan het ook :-)
