Sago Palm - Cycas revoluta
Even though these Sago Palms look like palms, they are not palms at all! They are cycads which are primitive, fern-like evergreens. They are easy to care for and extremely slow growing, but can live upwards of 200 years when taken care of properly. Plus, fun fact, they are some of the oldest living plants around, found during prehistoric times! Pretty neat!
Care: Bright Indirect Light - Avoid placing in direct sun or their leaves will be scortched. Water thoroughly when the top 2 inches of soil feels dry to the touch. During warmer months, mist the leaves with a spray bottle in between waterings. Water less during cooler months! Easy peasy.
