One might think that, by midsummer, most bulbs will have done their beautiful thing. Not so. The welcome sight of early spring flowerers is a distant memory, as is the colour fest provided by daffodils and tulips, but there’s still much to look forward to in the bulb kingdom during the second half of the year.
