4 seeds per pack. Similar to the Nara Melon, this is a little known, edible melon, native to dry regions of southern Africa. The fruits ripen to pale yellow, with bright orange, juicy flesh, that has a nice sour-sweet flavor. The fruits have prominent, bulbous spines, similar to the Horned Melon. Found wild in arid, sandy scrubland, forest regions. Dioecious. #5337
