Common name: Emerald Jade Carpet

Crassula multicava, commonly known as Emerald Jade Carpet is a luxurious, low growing succulent, with deep green, flat, round leaves making the perfect forest floor looking groundcover. Full sun coastal, but most importantly, one of the few effective plants for growing in troublesome dry shade, under oak trees, pines, and even eucalyptus. Likes regular garden watering, but can tolerate long periods of complete dryness. A fine mist of “baby’s breath” pink flowers appears suspended above the foliage in winter and early spring. Frost tender.
