The Russelia Equisetiformis ‘Firecracker Broom’ has green, grass-like arching branches with fiery red flowers give a graceful appearance. Nice choice for slopes, walls and planters. Water-wise, full sun to partial shade. Blooms almost year round. Like a verdant green volcano, erupting with fountains of arching and cascading flows of fiery red-orange flowers, this interesting shrub catches your eye everywhere. Especially stunning hanging over walls, or boulders… Looks like the “firefalls” of old Yosemite! To 3 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide; full sun, drought tolerant when established. Great from desert to coast.
