Description

Previously under the name Antirrhinum orontium. A plant found all over Europe, along roadsides, on dry hill slopes, cultivated land and openings into pine forests.

Flowers

The flowers have a pouch at the base and are borne in leafy racemes. The sepal teeth are unequal.

Leaves

Linear narrow blade leaf, like grass. Long and narrow, lower leaves opposite, upper leaves alternate.

Fruits Seeds

Capsule: glandular hairy opening by 3 pores.
