Description

Closely related to Rocket.

The taproot is similar to the root of the cultivated radish, but less enlarged. Raphanus raphanistrum may be the ancestor of our edible radish.

Flowers

Flowers white or pale yellow.

Leaves

Pinnatisect leaf is deeply lobed, almost to the central midrib. Deeply lobed, with rounded lobes almost to midrib, largest lobe at the tip.

Fruits Seeds

Pod: round segments resembling a bead necklace, 3-7 cm.
